WHAT WE DO and HOW WE CAN HELP
The Princeton Biofeedback Centre LLC specializes in providing neurofeedback and Open Focus training to treat stress-related disorders, attention disorders, physical and emotional pain, and anxiety and depression. Neurofeedback and Open Focus are methods that reduces stress and enhance well-being by using principles developed in the field of electroencephalographic (EEG) biofeedback, now called neurofeedback. Open Focus and neurofeedback combine to reduce symptoms that may not be recognizable as stress related, but are often underpinning physical and emotional pain, attention difficulties, emotional disorders, and physical symptoms of all kinds. It is also effectively used by athletes and performers to train for peak performance.

Without going into too much detail, I will divulge that I was in desperate need of a solution to cope with pain. My doctors were giving me all they had in terms of medication and treatment but it seemed like I was alone in the world when it came to the physical anguish I was experiencing. With a relatively skeptic eye, I read [Dr. Fe... Read more

When I first saw this new book by Dr Fehmi I thought its premise was too good to be true. How could a set of mental exercises simply dissolve the feeling of pain accumulated over several years, particularly in difficult to treat areas such as knees? Well, in spite of my scepticism, after doing the exercises I saw a remarkable reducti... Read more

Pain is gone! Recently, I was forced to stop taking my ibuprofen pills because of a stomach condition. I have severe arthritis, joint and muscle pains. I've been using Les Fehmi's Open Focus Attention brain exercises for awhile. They work. How? By doing simple exercises that focus on your body's relationship to space, you change the way you pay attention, and that changes your brain wave activity ... which changes your physiology and the hormones and chemicals that keep our bodies ... Even months of really good therapy proved insufficient to budge the bulk of the symptoms I experience as a result of severe PTSD. 5Helps tremendously. The Open Focus approach is exactly what I was looking for to bridge the gap between meditation and medicine. Neither were helping my long list of ailments, mainly migraines, and other approaches such as "mindfulness" just made things worse. . . I have not found a better method for healing than this. . . Ritalin, Dexedrine and Clonidine, they all have side effects...Ritalin can slow down growth, it can lead to insomnia, it can cause loss of appetite....but it can also turn around a child's life.... I would rather see biofeedback tried first.

I have been doing Yoga Nidra for a year and TM style meditation two years before that. I find this technique simpler, and more applicable thru-out the day. Since you can use Open focus with your eyes open you can use the technique at your desk. Open Focus is what I do when I can't dedicate time for a Yoga Nidra session. The results ... Read more

A child's brain can be taught to regulate itself, much like a youngster can be taught to ride a bike. Through the training, the brain is provided with the information it needs to regulate itself, thereby causing the necessary adjustments which bring about changes in behavior. The most common feedback about EEG training from parents... Read more

Dr. Fehmi developed by far the most effective technique for dissolving pain I've ever encountered. Simple and very effective, it works with both emotional and physical pain. I didn’t even finish listening to the podcasts about open focus when I found myself unable to sleep last night. I decided to focus on the open space around me and promptly fell asleep. It was an unusual experience. I will listen to the other podcast and try to implement the idea with regard to pain. Thanks for sending them to me.

Our adopted son, who was prenatally exposed to alcohol, had attention deficits. He was oppositional and impulsive. He had phobias and anxiety.
